History
Ex pro windsurfer Jamie Knox moved to Brandon Bay in the early Nineties after falling for the perfect cross-offshore winds and peeling waves of Gowlane.

Realising the potential of the place he set about teaching beginners to windsurf and renting kit from his caravan at Sandy Bay.
In 2000 the Professional Windsurfing Association (PWA) held it's Wave Grand Prix in Brandon Bay and put Brandon Bay in the media spotlight and also the hearts of many a pro sailor, Many of whom have returned to enjoy the wind, waves and Guinness.
The rest they say is history and now15 years on Jamie Knox has Built up a well respected and established Watersports school teaching windsurfing and surfing to all levels, a well stocked Watersports shop and a Quality Bed & Breakfast.
However don't be put off by all the talk of PWA and Pro sailors, Brandon Bay really has something for everybody.
Just give it a go and let Brandon Bay welcome you
